Well we made it from Newhaven to Brighton with the minimum of fuss (for once) last night, goosewinging all the way. Does anyone else use their spray hood as an extra sail on a dead run..? We could have sworn we got an extra half a knot out of it, sod those fussy spinnaker type fings. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Anyway, sitting here in Brighton marina, thought I'd try the old hot spot wireless connection and bingo! Quality.

BTW, SturgeronSteve, I duly followed your advice re. radio checking with CG and VHFs are indeed fine.

Now, where did I put my vodka Red Bull...

How much does it cost and how fast does it go ? Are there restrictions on upload/download ?

Using wireless in the office in the sticks and would dearly love it on the boat - no need to remain in office then.

Does anyone know of other hotspots in marinas (particularly W Country and S Coast at present) ?
