The winter 'to-do' list

Re: The winter \'to-do\' list

22 jobs not including the obvious (antifouling). 6 done. I don't feel too bad as we have to use some epoxy and need the temp to be higher...

Perhaps begin a rolling program of replacing blocks etc

Anyone knows that no job with a prefix of 'perhaps' ever gets done! All the same 7/10

Re: The winter \'to-do\' list

Not to worry. Write the additional item "install primus" on the list and cross it off. Also add a new item called "update list" and another one called "Find pens" and another one called "Early March - check lines!" and cross all those off as well. That's FOUR things done, not none.

So come on 'fess up....

Who hasn't got even half way through their winter to-do list?

[/ QUOTE ]

Just half way through mine.

1. Sell old boat - done
2. Buy new boat - I'll get back to you on that

People who know me will never believe this, but I'm actually looking forward to going to Holland this WE.

Will, try this:

Het spijt me, ik spreek geen Vlaams. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

or perhaps

Ik heb hulp nodig.

Vlaams?? In Holland??

My Flemish is reasonable - well, it should be after 15 years of marriage to Belgian lass.
But the moment they know you speak Flemish (oh, isn't that quaint?) they assume this natural air of superiority.
No, it's going to be English only - with the added benifit of them not knowing that I understand (most of) what they're saying amongst themselves.

Re: The winter \'to-do\' list

Great idea but for one thing. I treat myself to a Snicker Bar for every completed job. I would be diabetic before launch.
