The weather gods are not playing ball at the moment

Its still blowing quite hard here, though all the forecasts show it abating later this morning.

I thought of leaving early tomorrow morning when there will be virtually no breeze at all until I checked the met office who are forecasting FOG!
I dont have radar so thats not an option.


How quickly will the sea flatten once the wind has calmed?

If there is some heavyish rain it will flatten quite quickly - the rain fills up the holes

Passageweather have it flattening off this afternoon.

That ties in with windguru (spot search/user clivegrounds/mid north sea) and magicseaweed.

Lighter winds this afternoon compared to Friday.
