Two RCC club members have just published a little book detailing the adventures and misadventures of their travels in a 30DS.
Felix has travelled to Berlin and Paris, down to the Med and up to the Baltic over the past 30 odd years.
Boat and crew have just returned from a month or two on the Thames, wonder if anybody up your way knows Denis and Cathy Crabbe and the entrepid "Felix" ?
Known locally as the hoover of the sea, reading the book suggests that about everthing that floats just below the surface has at some point impeded the progress of this craft. From rope to black plastic sacks and everything inbetween.
Club members always cruise behind Denis and Cathy and with good reason.
Ps.Unless you have lot of time to spare,do not engage Denis in any conversation regards ensigns/flags/pennants /burgees or similar matters. You have been warned.
