On our first sail of the year in April, we had a bit of a puzzling issue with our windlass. The down button let down some chain. The up button also let down some chain. We felt a bit let down by our usually trusty Lofrans, but after much poking around in the entirely wrong place, a lightbulb went on in my head and the problem was quickly sorted, luckily with no lasting damage.

Read our blog about it and watch the rest of our shakedown sail at: https://sdfjkl.org/blog/2018-07-16-spring-shakedown/

[I hope this is okay to post. Go on, tear me a new one if it isn't!]
