Well that's it, for a bunch of boat owners I'm not sure we did very well, I think we'll initially have two problems, finding a navel architect to take it on and a stability problem.

Could try harder.

[/ QUOTE ] If you followed my suggestion of 4 hulls, the stability issue would be easily solved; and there would be a lot more foredeck...

I volunteer to do the foredeck. "Trust me I'm a Navel Architect" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Actually the vessel doesn't sound that bad /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If it was written up as a part of a "test" with some nice photos (including of the foredeck /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) we could probably obtain a few signatures on HP forms at the Boat show. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now all we need is a name.................. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I suppose "the YBW Mk 1" isn't really that snappy. Given the balance of features, what about the "Bimboliser 42D"

Re: The thrill of the chase...the newly specified YBW1 boat of your dr

Given that most new boats are given names that imply a greater length than they have, I should think "42D" for a twenty footer is about right.

Better off with Michael Jackson /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I reckon the design was approved the the HSE simply on the basis that it will never float, so will never be launched, and is therefor a tad safer?
