.....deeper(higher?) than usual.....
Taken yesterday at my marina at Chertsey, must be at leat two feet above normal levels! River was probably flowing under Chertsey Bridge at around 4-5knots.......

The Severn is running High and Fast - a few inches below flooding Upton upon (in) Severn. The water surface has those thing you get in the sea - er um ah yeah waves !!!

Wizzed over it today on the way north (yet another lying B****** ) told me on the phone it was a good boat properly built !!!.F****** W****** no way was that heap built by a shipbuilder .
The trent is about to burst and the rain was doing the usual.

Whilst up in sunny Lancashire. I have been mowing the lawn. Got a whole trailer load of leaves and grass off it.

Rake indeed. I used the lawn tractor. Brummed up and down. It gets quite interesting in 7th gear. In reverse!!

Sat and watched a Freeman, Sealine, four canoeists and much debris float by at Marlow Today - we were not brave enough to try ! About to burst bank on the Hurley side.

My boat is here in time for winter....

Always found the further you travel the bigger the pile of junk that awaits you.
Went to look at a boat built by JCL marine the geezer wanted 30k for it.Prob worth 3k and well past its sink by date.Worst waste of 350 miles by me ever.

No.one of the other semi Italian style thingies.Impossible to see out of side of wheelbox.Had been scuttled off canvey island 20 odd yearas ago.,Raised by insurance co and sold on.Precious little had been done since.Awfull mess inside.Chap actually wanted money for the heap.Located on canal Nr Worchester as i recall,Might have been asking 35k.

And here is the weekend weather..

The severn is dropping, dropped about 4 inches in 1hr. while I was in white swan.

Brighton.
Tide height same as normal (predicted).
Wind light.
Sea flat
Sky blue (some white bit's about).
Temperature bracing.

Steering still needs new oil seal.
Wife and No. 2 child still washing boat and walking dogs.
Pub still open.

All is well with the world.
