I don't know why but my boat gets lots of webs cast in the rigging and rails. I really do not like getting a face full of them when moving around ,...

Its not lack of use of the boat - its just extremely active persistent spiders !

Today on the river - I noted my wind arrow at mast head was stuck. Despite the 9m or so height from where I am in cockpit - I could plainly see a mega cobweb linking the V arms, VHF antenna and the arrow ... I mean this is a cobweb that I reckon could reek havoc to the flying world !
Even with moderate gusts - that arrow only moved in about a 5 - 10 degree arc restrained by that web !!
 
We had a plague of spiders in Cardiff some years ago. Spider poo sets like concrete and is very hard to clean off. You need to get the A frame rigged and get rid.
