Here's a great picture of Sunset taken at the North Pole last week with the Moon at the closest point to Earth and a yellow Sun beneath.:cool:

Not surprising the crescent is so narrow.

I think you'll find it under the camera. ;)

I know it's not boaty for boats' sake but when you're out on a night passage with the moonlight reflecting off the water ahead, It's called the 'Silver Road'. The picture above is so unusual that most of us will never see it. It is also very hard to reproduce as it won't be the same each month.

I thought it was a nice pic and I've never seen it before. I would not put something as good up in the Lounge. :ambivalence:

Yup, me thinks so too but it was more likely to be an explorer type vessel. :)

Still the moon does affect most of us on here every time we take the boat out, so it's nice to have a different view.
