from time to time a new poster comes on to the YBW forums and asks lots of questions about how to achieve their sailing objectives, they pose various dilemas, what is the best way to charge batteries on a long passage, how do I stow enough equipment when sailing offshore, etc etc... various folk answer and they are mostly never heard from again after a few weeks.

This is a quite interesting video, made by somebody who obviously took notice of all the advice that he was offered.

Even skipping forward to reduce 2h06 mins to about 10 minutes makes for an interesting watch, especially while eating lunch in an office, in Manchester, in February!

Thanks for link, I watched it all last night snuggled up in a warm bed. Quite interesting to see he left the outboard fixed to the dinghy for the whole trip, he slowly tidies up below and how the cats manage. Thoroughly enjoyed his pictures of sailing under the Golden Gate. It appears to be a youngish man from the photos at the end. on the whole very impressed with his endeavours.
