The proof......

Hambleden Lock - took a similar picture myself earlier in the year when travelling to the TVR (so its been like that for a while!).

Seem to recall that some time ago it was actually afloat but its proof that we are all right and the river is silting up.

Obviously! That "thing" has been there like that since at least the start of May, how many times must an EA patrol boat have been past it in that time? Did not one of them think that a marker bouy aground needed something doing with it?

Apparently not but one word from uncle Tony and they leap in to remove it forthwith. What worries me is that it must have been put there originally to mark something, now there is no marker?

There was(is?) a shoal in the wider weirstream bit, stray too far to starboard going upstream and you will find it.

I will say no more before Brayman says "Yawn" again......
