2f:/Find company to do job ask them if they had a hyhab so fore go cost of craines....yes he says...supposed to do job last Monday...he phones the boatyard up to use there crane???...boatyard rings me....and asks...have you got a crane for your end?...much cursing...rings boat movers and sacks him, finds a guy who will do it with 4/4 and trailer if i pay for yard crane and jack it off my end...agree .

For those of us whose missus thinks renovating the house is more important than time and money for leisure this sort of thing makes fascinating reading! Make sure you keep the camera at the ready (of course if you have a video camera and they drop the thing off the truck you could earn £250 from the telly!). Much as I drooled over the P460 a colleague of my brother has (and duelling with the SeaCat- what a larf (parp!)) I have to say this is more my budget for the present. Keep up the good work. Next instalment maybe a task-list with v. approx. costings/deadlines so we can see if everything floating has to be a money-pit or some cunning trickery can save the day! When do you plan to have her all shipshape?

You're absolutely right of course- what was I thinking of!

What's the rush anyway- beats a garden gnome for aesthetic appeal anyway (great place to hide with a few beers I should think)! In fact if you rig up the power for a fridge first who knows how many years of pleasure she could bring without even getting wet.
