This is a decent small pub and carvery, serving a fairly standard pub fayre. A selection of sandwiches, local seafood and a carvery with a couple of meat choices with a large selection of vegetables.

The decor is modern and the service when we visited was quick. Its main advantage is the proximity to the Brixham harbour pontoon. Visitors are encouraged and you get a 2 hour stay for free.

View from the terrace accross the pontoon.

Prices are about between £5 and £10 for a Main course. An easy and inexpensive lunch stop, but be warned- from some tables you can see straight into the next door brokers window !!

Its on the Brixham Harbour pontoon pictured. The similar pontoon next to it is owned by MDL, and they will charge (£8 -I think)

Information was contained in the Harbour guide here (Page 12). I keep a printed copy on the boat and show it if any part time jobsworth that wants to charge me.

You can stop all week for free, if you've a mind to. They hardly ever come round for money. Catch is, you have to go round to the office for leci cards. We always call round and pay, cos it's one of our favourite places to stop, interesting talking to the crew of Vigilance and half the marina price.

The carvery at the PW is ok, but the service at the bar can be cronic. The bar maid last week was giving me lip, then had to go and ask how to pull a pint!!
