Now just a selection of specially purchased stuff in tiny sizes and quantities to squeeze under the price break and worse the tills are now self service
.Left my basket on the floor and departed with my carefully collected pocket full of pound coins intact :(
 
The MO of all £1 and 99p stores is fatally flawed. Inflation will squeeze them out of business or force them into a disastrous rebranding.

the original idea of buying surplus stuff to clear was brilliant wheeze but they are now obviously having stuff specially made for them.The final straw was the tiny weeny can of WD40,one single sniff and its gone

There was a programme on TV the other day saying the Poundland model was heavily hit by the Brexit vote. The slump of the pound meant the cheap imported goods that form most of their stock were now too expensive. Looks like the core Brexit voters stabbed themselves in the foot
