Still working out how to do the filling bits hence the aluminium tape at side to keep in warmth :)
The heater is belting away in the background,now all ready for the club New Years eve do and new years day run out(very brief indeed) followed by meat and dumplings back at the bar.

Not bad - and done quicker than B1 can wire a plug. I do have a friend who knows glazing if you need any last minute help...
 
Well, we can see why it looks like a Hardy ! But being a cheapskate he's economised on the timber by using all glass panels - well. I think it's glass - might be perspex or cheapo acrylic :D

As for the continuing snide remarks about the time it takes me to wire a plug :
1. I was not wiring a plug, I was wiring up a thermostat and tube heater assembly with several connections and:
2. I would have got on a lot quicker if 3 forumites hadn't got in the way and one of them hadn't persuaded me to cut off a plug that was already suitably in place and which then needed to be rewired. This was obviously intended to be a diversionary manoeuvre so that I didn't notice him sketching the relevant details to save himself design costs.

Notice how cleverly he has managed to create the **** varnished look ! (This is my top job for 2011 - a previous owner used a garden timber type wood preservative and it needs stripping and varnishing properly. No doubt Oldgit will observe and act accordingly at a later date.....

I will decide later whether or not to wish you all a Happy New Year ......

One of the big avantages of advancing years is ...........

A. Your eyesight is so rubbish anything you look at seems perfick and anyway you are amazed that its still on its hinges....
B and its the same with wimmin,where once you where super fussy,now anybody as long as it has a pulse and can put up with you :)

Green appears to be "a la mode" for patio doors on the Thames this year,can I get this in a tin from B & Q or is it only available from from posh marina chandleries ? :)
