This is so special I almost hope no one will notice it. However cannot keep it just to ourselves.

We catch the no 8 bus from Newport And get off 1 stop past St Helens, at an insanely dangerous stop from whence it is all downhill to Seagrove Bay (FP). At low tide you can walk along the beach westwards, otherwise coastal path to Seaview. Interesting in force 9 Beasterly.

The Old Fort is on the Esplanade, modern and classy but not overpriced. If you want to be really clever you can take a visitor's buoy off Seaview Sailing Club (£10 up to 40 ft) for lunch and take the water ferry in.

Not what we do, it is a scurry back to the the Church and pick up the next No 8 ( or is it the next but one, or two, even) to Ryde. You could walk along the shore, if capable.

As I say, not many do it at present, and I hope it stays that way.
