The nights are drawing in!

So, where did you go TO? Or was it Caversham to Caversham, I can't really tell from the slideshow. It was lovely at T&K this afternoon, just like a summer's day.

I took "Carli" out this afternoon. The river looked absolutely stunning, and there was not another boat moving between Boveney & Bray locks.

Came off the boat about 3pm. Ahh the magic of winter boating!

I'd say downstream through sonning to shiplake at a guess?

looks lovely, the summer may have been wet, but it's great to be able to out in November, normally too much of a rip to be safe by now.

Indeed you did, cos I gave you a wave as you came past... I dont think you saw me tho'. Was on the river bank reglassing the bottom of by battery box in. Still hasn't set! (cold and damp..)

rr 123 gets the prize!

Indeed, through Sonning and down past Shiplake, where we turned before Henley and came back as the sun was getting lower and lower.

Sorry I missed the wave (I always do) give me a toot next time!

This may be our final trip of the year, as we're off to the WI on the 19th to avoid Xmas.

Still, managed to de-soot the turbo on the way back (nuff said) which was handy as the fuel consumption had dropped according to the Volvo EVC, and a good blast cleared it up and it's back to 0.5 gallons/ hour.

I'm trying to trade down to a more classic river boat at the mo, just need to sell Shamby. I'll probably regret it, as she costs peanuts to run, and is only just two years old, just fancy an old fashioned cruiser!?

Rats! I would have moored up for a chat if I had spotted you.
(That is if you allow people to raft up to your rather lovely Princess).

Tricky time of the year for curing GRP etc. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Glad I went out yesterday, today was dismal and there are 70 mph winds forecast for the weekend!
