I hear they're out of space at Burnham so have started erecting them on Mersea. Compulsory purchase orders have been issued and all non occupied homes have had gardens seized so they can erect at least one turbine in each
Apparently this is thought to be the best way to improve the view

There is no 'second' Bradwell wind farm.
I explained this to DoM some weeks ago. References to Middlewick wind farm (he didn't know where it was so I provided the relevant links) may ellicit a more accurate response. Alternativley, the construtor's website might help.

You are misquoting me - I never said there was second Bradwell windfarm, I said "So how is the construction of the second phase of the wind farm getting on?". I know you explained the windfarm was at Middlewick, and I am grateful for telling me where Middlewick is

Bradwell wind farm is complete. There will not be a second phase. Why is that so difficult to understand and why do you waste our time asking when you can access the answers yourself?
OK: I'll give you a clue. Bradwell and Middlewick are two places several miles apart. You can see them both from Mersea and also from Ibiza with the help of Google Earth.

I thought the Middlewick wind farm was an extension/second phase of the Bradwell farm, and even after looking at Google Earth, Middlewick does not appear to be very far from Bradwell.

Five miles apart. About the same distance as the Bradwell wind farm is from West Mersea. I don't understand why they didn't call it the West Mersea wind farm ;-)

It's nice and sunny over here today David, good visibility and from Brightlingsea I am delighted to report that all of your turbines seem to be rotating at an adequate speed to power a small torch.
Hopefully the treehuggers will soon realise that windmills are a waste of time and have a hidden carbon footprint that will take years to get rid of. We can then get back to Nuclear Power...Electricity generation for grown ups!
