I used to take my crew round the boat and say things like, "Here's the liferaft", this is how you deploy it. However I must tell you that it's two years overdue a service, if this bothers you please leave now. However probably were this to happen now even gettiing a blood chit signed prior to departure would not save me.

I agree with that, just take a look a gun crime. Did removing legal ownership have any discernible effect, not to me it didn't!
