River Mersey/Liverpool bay : central to the world heritage - Maritime Mercantile City. Spectacular waterfront , plenty of big ships to see, lots of cultural events( Giants this weekend!) ,rich in aquatic life and great location for cruising to N wales, NW England and even Ireland. That's my view anyway!!

Much of the south west, if that is not too large an area to claim !
Salcombe without too many crowds and some sunshine is extra special, but I like around Falmouth area too with plenty of coves and sandy beaches that you can almost have to yourself. Poole to Weymouth is a stunning stretch of coast by sea too, of course. Dartmouth just lacks the evening sun, but that is true of many of the river towns.
