Some while ago I suggested that as a follow on from Oostend we storm the London River.

I have a provisional booking for up to 10 boats at Limehouse Basin arriving on the afternoon tide on Tuesday 1st June and staying for 2 or 3 nights.

The following had expressed an interest
1. Sirenia (CliveG)
2. Full Circle
3. Wild Otter (Jomo)?
4. Kioni
5. Sea Mist II
6. White Magic (Slow Boat)?
7. Morgana
8. Mr T (CPD)

I know that Morgana and CPD jumped the gun and went last week.
They are not coming on this trip.
I also know the FullCircle is a definite for the trip.
Please could the others and anyone else intrested please indicate so in this post.
I think that we should confirm the booking in early May.

Some of us are heading for the Globe Thearter to see Hamlet during the stay.
Should be interesting.

Joscelyn and I will be onboard 'Arendala' in Limehouse at that time, and would love to meet up....though we're working both days, so will have to be on reasonably good behaviour.

No need to reserve a space for us...Limehouse is home when we're in London.

Sadly the Kioni-ites will have to withdraw as Kioni will be in the hands of her new owners by the end of April and Saguday won't be here in time for the event. We were all looking forward to it too but hopefully we'll be able to get involved in later events.

Neil

Keep your eyes peeled !

For the big yellow sign on the side of an industrial unit somewhere on the Isle of Dogs which says:-

If you enter these premises outside working hours.
Can you please remove your dentures.
As our dogs have trouble digesting them !

We noticed it whilst going up the Thames last year and it gave us a grin

O.K. folks.
That seems to be 3 confirmed and 1 maybe.
I really should confirm numbers to Limehouse this week.
Is there anyone else who would to join this merry band?

In St Kats as we speak - been out with the camera...

O.K.

Bookings made with Limehouse for:-
Full Circle
Wild Otter
Sirenia

Provisional booking made for Tiller Girl.

Arrive Tuesday 1st June on the afternoon tide.
2 or 3 nights as required.

At Limehouse they dish out a really useful local map, on which is marked a Chinese restaurant called the Tai-Pan, on Commercial Road about 5 mins walk from the marina. We ate in there last week, I'd recommend it.

Thanks Dick. If its rubbish, we will lay siege to Herne Bay on the way home.
