Kioni proto-tanks A and B successfully completed speed and distance trials this evening.

More fine tuning of the computer simulations and stress models tonight then final changes tomorrow. Several to-be-patented ideas incorporated into these race-optimised super-tanks.

The parents will only be there to provide lots of helpful, useful advice and gentle, restrained encouragement from the sidelines, a bit like at optimist open events

You will all be gratified to learn that my tank has yet to make way under its own motion sensibly. Initial trial caused savage wheelspin and little else. I must remember to remove the broom head from the broomstick.
I have to go and find some extra materials in the morning.
