On the bright side though, its not long before you are home for tea and stickies.
Oh, yus! A brief snooze in the afternoon, before Afternoon Tea in the Mess served by young and comely WRAFs, then a sort through the day's newspapers before a convivial chat about the evening's 'sector sweep' for local crumpet, then change for Dinner, before said 'sector recce'.
Ho-hum. Life was droll as a JO Aircrew devoid of responsibilities yet burdened with a surfeit of testosterone.
