Can commit to practise between now and then on weekends.

Can do any position after a few sessions learning boat, or I could be Navman.

Nobody takes the Holms Race that seriously. Well, maybe some CBYC people might. Best bet is to contact them if you want to crew. Much more fun to just enter your own boat and have a crack though!

Currently boatless which is why I am looking for a crew position.

It’s pretty much the same boats every year (pcc and cbyc fleets) and I don’t think any/many of the skippers of those boats are in here. Call the clubs and i’m sure you’ll be sorted out. It’s pretty informal racing.

I took it seriously! Went over one year, got drunk, overslept, missed my booked lock, started much later than planned, came in sixth, fastest boat from CYC. The next year, everything went to plan, didn't even make it to Flatholm!
