The sheen of the new topsides colours and the smell of the oil and varnish liberally applied in a week of hard work. Hopefully the recaulked hull will be a little more watertight than in recent times. She might need some new sails to get her up to top speed but it's good to see her in the water again.

Hang on, this is the classic forum...

We should be talking about digging the old forum out of the weeds, stopping up the holes and then battling on regardless, desperately trying to keep the thing afloat and working with every available penny and minute; with only our pride and a stubbornness to support us whilst everyone else posts merrily away in the easy, maintenance-free, modern forum!
