When we lived over there we had a Seamaster 30 (the tall one, not the low-line model) and it just went through - depending on the water level and how much fuel/water we had on board there was about 1 to 3 inches of clearance to the hand rails at the side of the cockpit roof - so we used to walk it through. - I do not know your boat but if you can compare it to the seamaster 30 you may have your answer. - Just worth a note, that the services bridge between the 'hole and the lock is slightly lower than the middle of the arch, so beware of anything that's in the centre of your boat.
Our TV aerial would occasionally slightly scrape a bolt on the bridge - On more than one occasion we had a car on the road at the side screech to a halt to watch us hit the bridge - In vain... :-)

As per the above reply the Glroy Hole is not the lowest of the bridges.

The video below shows our S23 coming back through the bridges. We can get through with the canopy up but as it was sunny and we had the canopies off we just folded the arch for easiness.

If your boat is a bit close you can always fill your tanks and get a few people aboard to lower her in the water a little, but remember once you go one way you have to come back.

The run down to Boston can be a little boring in places but on the whole is quite pleasant. It normally takes us about 5 to 6 hours to get from Burton Waters to Boston so isnt too bad a run. This assumes the two locks are set in your favour of course.

Once out of the Grand Sluice at Boston you have about an hours cruise on the tidal River Witham until you reach Tabs Head and the start of the Wash. There is a six knot speed limit on the tidal Witham.

All the advice above is great as the height restrictions there are approx 2.9 metres
DO NOT GOOGLE "THE GLORY HOLE"

remember your jerry cans for Woodhall,Langrick and Asda boston the cheapest(get a 310 fold up trolley from Torksey caravans)
The gate on the lock itself is kin' low so don't put your mast back on before the gate(How do I know that:( )

Why dont British Waterways drop the level between Stamp End Lock and the flood gate just as you come out of Brayford Pool.If they dropped the level by 12 inches say once a week by pre-booking,countless other boats could get thro. myself included.A small charge would be acceptable. 12 inches on an arched bridge makes hell of a difference.

I suspect it is the same way that we found out. :D

How could you lower the water under the bridge without lowering the water all the way to Torksey Lock?
You would either need to use the flood gates as a lock gate, or add a lock gate in - and due to the distance between those areas, I don't think that would be practical.

Buying a boat more suited to the area you moor in is probably the more sensible option :)

I have never really understood the amount of boats moored on the Fossdyke that can not get through the bridges in Lincoln. Why would you moor on a waterway that restricts your use to 10 miles of ditch unless you want to go tidal every trip out?

I think there used to be gates at the exit of the Brayford not sure if they are still there
It would be the environment agency not BW there as the automatic sluice is for flood protection

Curiosity may force me to look for those gates later ;)

There are a set of flood gates as you exit Brayford to go towards Stamp End. They dont look to have been used for many years though. Presumably they now just open the sluices to let more water out rather than shut the gates to prevent Lincoln flooding.
