Ah! Sorry folks. Looked for a thread titled something vaguely like 'storm in Greece' before posting. Should've trawled through every current thread to check!

This time 12 years ago we were sailing back to Corfu and an enormous storm over the mainland caught up with us, I saw 50 knts on the wind thingy as I was jumping down below, it was my first squall? And I was very scared. It was very dark with torrential rain for about 45 minutes, then it cleared almost as fast as it arrived, so much for the baby slopes of sailing.
