The Full Circle 'Eat the Cupboard Tour' 2014

Poor show on the Tinned consumption front.

Last night was restaurant in Nieuwpoort, nil tin count.
Today just one tin of Chana Dahl.

Tomorrow is looking promising though, we may even get to the tin of chile con carne. Been wondering about that one.

The bottle count is triple that of the tin count today. Ahem.

Now sat in Middelburg listening to the local scruffs wring the neck out of their motorcycles. Other than that, very peaceful indeed.

Go up to the club, sit at the bar & ring that bell over the bar & sit back & enjoy your new won friends

I have been watching this thread and in the process have gained 5 pounds in weight!!!

Is this transcendental dieting or has a means of mass matter tranferrance been occurring :):)

Some years ago oldest son was crewing for an elderly sailor on a very elderly 40 footer. He was told to help himself to a can of beer but when he picked It up the bottom had rotted out some years before! Probably said Watneys on it

Well, a day of mixed emotions.

Middleburg was lovely to walk around, excellent market.

Sadly, my Tides Marine Shaft Seal has given way (it always dribbled), and is now taking on water at the rate of a litre an hour stationary, and much more with the engine running. We are considering having it lifted here in Netherlands.

So we went to the Yacht Club to eat/drink last night, as I spent a long time with the boat disassembled.

'Normal' service is resumed today, we are moving on....

BUT BUT did you ring the bell over the bar

Dear oh dear. My Tides drips when the engine is running out of gear as I have a worn prop that needs replacing. The water feed causes that. It drips less when I'm on the go as I assume the water feed gets pulled out of the stern tube.

There is a huge marina at Kortgene (700 boats) so they will have good facilities. Eastern end of the Veersemeer on the left. This is where Kim Dowden (Emjaytoo) keeps his boat. Pub and restaurant on site.

A good cheap yard ( specially for cash) on the port hand just before Goes, the train runs through there too.
look out for the large yellow crane
