The fridge has decided it\'s a freezer!

- which is fine if you like crispy lettuce, but it's a bitter disapointment after a hard day to find the beer frozen solid! Does any one know where I can get a stand-alone temperature controller to override the existing flaky regulator? In principal it should be simple device, independent of the brand of fridge.

Hi, try SRW in sussex (www.srwonline.co.uk) they have a good website and do mail order. a 12v programmable controller will do what you need, check that it has temp probes included. It should be quite easy to connect and set up.

I've twice found friends had this problem when the sensorfell off the cooling plate, so the fridge ran flat out. Solution was to reattach.

Thanks Peter - I'm now awaiting access to the SRW site. The loss of control is intermittent so I don't think it's just something fallen off.
