The emptiest container ship I have ever seen!

Well it isn't completely empty and it would hardly be moored there on the container berth - well I hardly think it would be parked there. It would be nice if they had fetched an empty ship to receive all our exports ?

Bit distant but it is empty. Is that a sign of the state of the world at the moment?

Three possibilities:

a) next stop drydock, for her 30 months docking (but unlikely in Europe)
b) about to be delivered to a new owner (but unlikely as she belongs to Mr Moller and she is only two years old)
c) she is changing route (much the most likely).

The emptiest containership that ever did weigh
sailed out of Harwich on a windy day

She was built in a busier time
hauling boxes for a shipping line

Her skippers half Dutch and the Chief's a Scot
a crew of eight is not a lot

anyone care to continue?

If it had been a tanker
It would be stuck under anchor

last time I sailed past that end there were a load of diggers and dumpers working just seaward of the two cranes. It seems to be a regular birth for that ship, been in and out all summer.
