Regarding balance and tow ball load. On my 21fter about 950kg boat 300kg single axle trailer I currently have pushed the boat back to near balance. It has moved back 32cms (over a foot) and still has some weight on the draw bar. When it is in normal location on the trailer I reckon more than 120kg weight on the tow ball. Disconnected I can have 2 people in the back of the cockpit with no concerns about tipping the boat up. This might give people an idea of draw bar weight needed for good towing. In fact IMHO tow ball weight should be as much as towing vehicle seems to be able to take before depressing the back too much. good luck olewill
