we had a period of calm like that when we left the canaries for our atlantic crossing,thirty plus knots for the first 24 hrsthen justlike in your picture, we motored all the way to the cape verdes at 4 knots, it's a cat so we would run just one engine and change over every twelve hrs, it was so bloody boring that anything floating on the water we would motor over and have a look, and just like you the dolphins were great, funny thing is the dogs could hear the dolphins from inside the boat, they would bark, step outside, sure nuff there be dolphins!!!........keith
