Keen and enthusiastic front of house, though a bit green, food at dinner mediocre (And only served Wednesday till Saturday for some reason) with a rather unimaginative and pubish menu, not enough fresh seasonal, and for some reason tomates and peppers on the ceaser salad......

Breakfast very very poor, bad value for money with small servings, the veggie option was overcooked and dried out and had odviously been sitting under a heat lamp as well.....

Table next to us arrived at 10.50am, waitress talked them into ordering food, when they had only come in for coffee... then came back at 5 past eleven and told them that the food was off ( true.. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif) as it was past eleven....

Clearly big problem in the kitchen, and apparently they have had more freezers brought in... (Ping!)

So, if your up for a visit, go to QAB which has a great cafe, and a 7 day a week pub for decent meals as well.

Q.A.B cafe has the best breakfast anywhere around but it is a shame that the marina's in Plymouth do such awfull food.
The Borringdon Arms at Turnchapel is ok and the beer aint too bad !!!!

The Bori is the place to go, great selection of beers. Food pretends to be nothing other than pub grub, but it is very good pub grub with generous sized portions.

The Bridge do seem to be having more than their fair share of problems. Haven't eaten there yet but the beer is good!

The cafe at mayflower always used to be good, hope it's not gone down hill.

Had a meal at the Bridge this week, obviously stll on a learning curve but service was friendly & mains very good.
Only moan would be stale cheese biscuits!
Doom Bar OK though /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
