Splitting open containers and spreading contents over a world heritage site (or is that further east) is not my idea of folksy locals getting a well deserved reward for their efforts. Local or from far afield they should be ashamed and I hope they all get double hernias for their trouble!
Incidentally I saw some posts about why the ship didn't end up on the French side implying there was some dastardly plot afoot - last time I crossed the channel the ships drive on the right going down channel and with a strong SWly this ship could only be a UK problem. Lets's hope they get the fuel and containers off safely.
