Heavy duty storm here at the moment, storm bound in Cala Ratjada! Waves breaking over the walls, had to move inside the main harbour and lie beside a fishing boat! Burst fenders, broken warps, no other damage, but a little to the skipper who got trapped by the boat and is very sore, nothing broken, but beleive me severe weather and not abating at present, due to get worse, oh well the joys of boating!! Caribean for this lad next year, had enough of this wonderful meddy weather! Stay safe all!

Colin - we're heading down that way at the weekend. Well, Costa del Crime anyway. I've been looking at the weather on the Internet and although its bad now, it should improve by Thursday and start getting reasonable to good on Friday with a decent forecast for the following week.

Stay away from other boats and batten down the hatches buddy!

Was in Alicante over the weekend, high winds, sheet rain, cold and miserable.
Couldnt take the boat out, couldn't wander about, no bar - b- q, what a wash out, never mind, next time!

It's true !!!!

Trip was excellent. We're off to Barcelona soon for a short visit - sorting out berth etc. Then off to LA to play for a couple of weeks. Its all go

Well I suppose thats some consolation for my boat being sick and out of the water, at least its not getting battered against the nice concrete pontoon in Alcudia.
