"The Boat" ... from the people that run "The Hut"

Well there seems very little information online more recent than 2021.... I'm sure the hard facts of the venture are floating (excuse the pun) around somewhere but at this stage intuition tells me this would be a very risky prospect for a berth holder to part with upwards of £9K.
 
It's definitely a high risk investment and that's demonstrated by only being offered to certified 'Sophisticated' or 'High Net Worth' investors.

The share price is £1.20 each, with a minimum of £9000 (7,500 shares).

It's not to my investment taste but it's certainly interesting for someone willing to part with at least £9K for the opportunity for something a little special.

That is absolutely meaningless information, and if you click on the link to read the presentation the same sin is committed. No-one is saying how many shares are in issue, so you have the numerator (7500 shares) but not the denominator. If I could be bothered I would report them to the regulator.

Tell you what, any poster on here can have one share in my new Sanlorenzo for 50pence. I'll tell you what the denominator is later (and you'll need a very big sheet of paper to write it down). How does that sound?

Slide 12 of the Investor Deck states a target raise of £1.5M from a maximum of 150 Investors, which means that there would be 1.25M additional shares.

I agree that it's not a fantastically descriptive prospectus but I believe that they can get away with it due to the qualification of it only being offered to certified 'Sophisticated' or 'High Net Worth' investors.

Your first para = What use is that? What is your point? You still don't know the denominator.
Your 2nd para = I disagree. There is no "you may mislead" exception for HNW investors

I really don’t understand your problem!

I simply shared some information with the link and then tried to help you to interpret it.

The information seems pretty self explanatory, whilst I agree that it’s insufficient for a good investment decision.
 
I realise that you don't understand. My point in my first post was that they have failed to disclose an absolutely critical piece of information, being the denominator. In nearly 40 years in this business, I've never seen anyone withhold that critical info.

You then appeared to point me in #28 to the missing information/help me interpret. But you didn't - the information you pointed to in #28 absolutely does not provide the critical missing information, even though you seem to think it does. (The 1.25m new shares issued is not the relevant denominator). This proves my point about the quality of the document in that it seems to have duped you because you describe it as "self explanatory". You are profoundly mistaken if you think it's self explanatory and haven't spotted the critical information that they have not disclosed.

I think that we agree on one thing, that this is not a good investment. With regard to the remainder, I cannot spend anymore time arguing about it; I was simply trying to help. I realise that you don't understand :) .

i’ll take two please. Always thought shared ownership was better anywsy. And as i’m the first to confirm my interest, can i book the first two weeks in August each year please.

I spotted an old boat sailing into the Solent earlier, not sure if it’s the restaurant boat , looks bigger than the artist’s impression but looked a bit like it
