The Bladerunner 51 at Hamble Point.

This Bladerunner has been ashore at Hamble Point for a long time, several years I think, I often wonder what the story is.

Today I had an email from MDL via Inwards Marine 'all offers considered'

it isn't, its hideous and as Ben says been up at HPM for years... easily visible when coming in of out of the Hamble

Yep, not sure where it is moored, but we saw it a couple of times at Swanwick last weekend

Believe that is owned by a local based guy who has a pretty long list of fast boats. if its the same guy, he bought the last hull from the XSMG factory and fitted it out rather well. a few other more traditional fast boats also.

I've seen and heard her rumble past on The Hamble. It is a striking boat. Not to my taste, and for me over-styled. I can imagine that Hoo-Rays would enjoy a day out on a charter.

for 10 years I saw it getting more and more tatty at HPM left open to the elements.... looks like those years never happened now sitting in the water with a polish, new teak and some fluffy new towels... just wondering if all smoke and mirrors...
