After over 60years on and off on the tidal and non tidal Thames we last week made the move from Laleham to Burnham on Crouch. The boat arrives at Bradwell today by road(not allowed to motor it round due to accident before Christmas) so could not placate the dragons on the way.
It will seem strange to spend more time visiting the places around this neck of the woods that we have only managed to see during our annual down river cruise.
I shall miss the Thames but it is only a couple of days away so next year a visit will be on the cards, best wishes to you all and if you are in B o C or Bradwell give Norsal a call

Fair Warning !

Always nice to have a new bit of water to float on and as you say, upper Thames still just round the corner.
Rochester Cruising Club has Burnham "in its sights" this Easter weekend, around 40 boats heading in your direction. Some of the boats then going on an extended trip further up the East Coast.
Nice to be retired without the ball and chain of having to work for a living. innit.:)
