The best in the med ?

It may technically fit (youd be the biggest boat in there though) ,its probably right on the size limit ,but you wouldnt want to be staying aboard there ,not sure it has any facilities even, itd be fine for a day boat that you dont live on over the summer months though.

Also you wouldnt want to leave it there over winter, whilst palma nova bay is generally sheltered in most weather, the marina is very small and has very low walls.

Have you looked into marina cala nova? I have no idea what its like,but it may be an option?

Thanks J. Yep, have tried Cala Nova but no space at present. I've even emailed Port Adriano but no reply yet. To be honest, they are all saying to try the end of Sept / start of Oct as that seems to be be when everybody moves about. I might just have to head out there and hope for the best (got a few weeks yet).

Anyone tried bribery? Scotch?

They seem to respond to emails OK but not in the affirmative!

I'll give it a week and start calling them but I suspect there's no substitute for asking in person.

I should say so! Can Pastilla is at the bottom of the runway. Not sure the marina at Palma Nova is worth considering either. I remember it as quite small and more a harbour than a marina

Julian's is right, much better to phone or present yourself in person, usually most marinas have some space by the end of Sept, although this summer they have been much busier than usual. Can Pastilla is not quite under the landing path, but it's pretty close!

I suppose pitching up there with the boat and without a berth will add a bit of jeopardy to the whole experience!

But there is an excellent Thai restaurant just across the road - we've used the marina to park the tender - yes - it is a small marina.

I'm really weird as I never mind being on holiday in a flight path! Only issue would be fumes or soot from the aircraft / traffic.
