The best day of the year today

Me, my daughter and my mother all like today!

4 seconds lighter tomorrow and 4 minutes a night after that.

Don't know why its only 4 seconds tomorrow, but I queried it once and was directed to some science pages by somebody!

Roll on the new season!

Regards

Carl

That's obvious it's because the world has to stop and start spinning the other way! It's bound to take a few seconds to get up to speed

I would have liked to have been at Stone'enge for that.

There was the story of the Coronation Street actor William Roache who fancied himself as a modern day Druid, and turned up with his chums in robes; the then members of ' Hawkwind ' ( the line-up changes every 5 minutes ) were also there and began a low chanting, " Ken Barlooo... " apparently he didn't see the funny side and was most dischuffed.

To me it feels like we're coming out the other side with longer days to look forward too.

Yeah and a bit of sympathy for us poor souls where we start the move towards winter again. (and yes we do have to stand on our heads)
Still this is typically the start of hot weather though it seems we started early this year witha few 40s. Merry Christmas to all olewill

Ok olewill, stop rubbing it in !

Grey and 'orrible here, about 9 degrees in the daytime.

We don't usually have salt water croc's, sharks or lethal spiders under the loo seat though - with centuries of training the House Of Lords caters for those roles :)

A TV article this weekend mentioned there are now 200,000 UK born people living in Perth. I wonder how many will be eaten by crocks sharks and spiders. Well at least it improves the chances for us Ozzies. Poms being far more tasty. olewill

I read that Ken Barlooo chanting thing as In Adam ant style.

Ken Barlooo, Ken Barlooo, Ridicule is nothing to be scared of.
