The bane has returned

Its time to renew that really useful and extremely helpful piece of legislation - the Boat Safety Scheme !
The only thing changed on my boat since last time is the engine bay extinguishers from Halon to CO2.
So how much will I be expected to fork out for someone who has less boating knowledge and experience than myself, but has attended a fortnights course, to tell me what is wrong with my pride and joy?
Can anyone recommend a 'sensible' inspector.

If possible get the same guy back who did it the last time, he can't then argue with any borderline bits. About 2 years ago I was charged £100 for a new inspection and certificate, if you go to the BSS website you can ring round all your local inspectors and get a few quotes and suss them out. There must be few leanient guys about because I bought my current boat came with a fresh certificate obtained by the broker and there are severall obvious anomolies, bit like an mot from a car dealer I guess.
