How does this work then - moor up at Mermaid Quay and head over to the yacht club? do you need to be a member of the BCYA?

And just in case we can't arrange a dog sitter, is CYC dog friendly?

I think the weekend will be as you describe. CYC is about 10 mins walk from Mermaid quay or you could go by tender. I believe it is the clubs which are members of BCYA. Dogs are not allowed in the club buildings but are OK in the grounds, if kept on a lead. Luckily for you, Lilly the devildog will not be there this weekend.
Have a good time.

There was talk of rafting up, apparently half the pontoons are set aside for the rally and there may not be much room. Not sure if registration is compulsary, we still have to sign in with Barebones when we get there

You will have to raft up. Based on last years turn out there will be a lot of boats there.
