Is travel for the final offer job a consideration?? Just wondering if the time & money you save by not having to travel would be enough to push up the effective salary of the nearer job?

Exactly the thought process I am going through, take home less weekly commuting is about the same! The only worry is if I was looking for a role in a few years time my salary starting point is that much lower. But then again I hope I wont have to!

Alas neither offer a 1pm finish on Friday but this offer at least removes a 200mile drive after work to get to boat / home.

Still nice to have this to worry about over the weekend!!
