The departure of the Dutch Boat Owners Club marked the last Rally of the year to Ashmount. That's it then, Season over nothing occurring here until next year.
2017 Bookings already drifting in. Freeman Boat Owners having already reserved August Bank Holiday. Swan Uppers hold their July date in permanence. I'd like to see the Rochester crowd here but I guess it's just that bit too much for them. All the regulars will be making their bookings soon enough but it's sad to see how many clubs are just history.

Only two or three RCC members are posters on here and perhaps one or two more are aware that this forum even exists,many are of the the generation where "the telephone" lived on its very own little table in a rather draughty hall by the front door.
Do know that many of our "time rich" members do cruise the upper reaches and have done so this year but are unaware of the cordial reception offered opposite the Beetle and Wedge.

Individually we don't offer any facility indeed itinerant moorers are actively discouraged. Clubs that have booked are welcomed with open arms.
