Hi Steve

Excellent videos, realy enjoyed them. Just listening to the times you were crossing the Solent on both Saturday and Sunday we missed you both times by an hour... would have liked to have got a video of Seabird on the move, but it would only have been brief as our crusiong speed is a tad lower than yours and Paul's..!

Well there's always next year! :)

Nice video Steve, we noticed Thanks Mum on the M25 Sunday evening so it was interesting seeing your videos. We were also in Cowes over the weekend with the F33!

Firefly,

I was doing a steady 23 / 24 kts, I didn't touch the throttle once. I let Steve do all the chasing around, my SWMBO wouldn't let me, even if my 4 & 7 year old boys wanted me to gun it!! I think they just wanted to get to the toy shop in Cowes quicker!! ;)

If your out and about and see us, get in touch and I'll be more than happy to oblige with the camera.

Hi Paul

at 23/24knts you would soon be gone! my Cruising speed is 17knts...and WOT in full cruising battle weight including a seasons furry growth on the hull is down to 20knts! next year I will get a mid season scrub off..

But it is daft that you are so close and we have never met, will keep and eye open for you next time we are down and come and say hello!

Good work again Steve, I enjoy the footage of the area and seeing the other forum members boats.
You do like checking your speed often :D

hi andie ... long time no hear etc.....your right about the speedchecks, but driving for a living (on the road) over here you have to be carefull or its 99yrs had labour !!
