My wife and I took up residency with a well known East Coast forumite and his wife for the weekend and I feel the need to public thank them for their hospitality. We would also like to thank the other East Coast forumites that we met on the Saturday night for their company, and of course the soup and puddings, it was a geat evening.
Unfortunately I can't remember your forum names, but you know who you are, so thank you.
If any of you fancy a change of scene and would like to sail where the log will read less than the depthsounder please let me know and we'll see what we can arrange.
Can we consider ourselves honorary East Coasters now? Bearing in mind that my first 'yacht' crusing was on the Humber in the early 1960s I must qualify?;)

We get a bit out of our comfort zone up there

Good to see you both - welcome any time.

Phew, lucky you can't remember anyone's name, it was a secret meeting of the priesthood.
Hopefully the Imbibing rituals together with the Incantations helped your wipe your memory.

You and your fine Brother are indeed a product of the East Coast. We are pleased you now enjoy the Missionary position on the West Coast of Scotland, where you must keep up the good work.

Nice to meet you too.

Amazed I didn't wake up with a headache but it was very foggy the first time I looked out! The trip back was a battery charging exercise so didn't get my downwind trip in both directions! By the way I am sure the echo sounder went off the scale at 15m for a few minutes.

Great evening :D
