Watch out for flow also. In summer the flow can be under 10 cu mtrs / sec . Last week it was 30. This week 60. Thats a lot of flow.

I went to check on my boat today and the river was brown and flowing like the clappers in Kingston It didn't put the rowing clubs off though, they came past at an impressive speed(although it must have been a very slow crawl back to the boathouse).

Looks like 226 cumecs today - so shouldn't be seeing any more rowing boats out
