Considering the weather forecast for this week - what are the chances that the lower reaches (i.e. Sunbury/Molesey) might be on a decreasing by Saturday?

Just one red left this morning - Temple to Marlow - but still many yellow "decreasing" from Oxford down.

It's yellow. 5 gates running on the weir when you posted. 4 at the moment as we shut one in around 1300.
Looks normal because we are running the levels on the reach artificially low at the moment as Turks are having problems getting under the bridge due to the scaffolding.

I wondered what was going on, I could feel the bottom when I moored up this evening, it must be about 6" inches lower than normal. Could you remind Turks and the other commercials about speed and wash past moored boats? Especially the ones just before the bridge

Yellow boards - Stream increasing - Molesey to Teddington. Too much rain and I've noticed that Twickenham's river banks have been getting very wet this week.

Flow at Maidenhead down to 53.4cumecs this morning and just received message from EA that there are now NO boards the whole length of the river !

As of 11:00 this morning (29th May) Yellow "Stream Increasing" boards from Iffley to Boveney inclusive and Moseley to Teddington.

I must say, I agree with that!!
Awesome trip down, 7-8mph on virtual idle speed, just to maintain steerage.
Upstream was less pretty...4mph usually, a bit too much wake, and 1400rpm each engine!!

I'm at Hampton Court tonight and the river is rather high, but the EA site says otherwise. Is the weir closed at Teddington? And what's the likely hood of boards appearing as the water's run off?

Nothing to do with river flow, exactly the opposite! High tides are resulting in water flowing UPRIVER from Teddington and the stretch from Teddington to Molesey effectively becomes tidal for a while around high tide times.
