Lechlade to Boveney (except Sonning) all Yellow Increasing with some Reds

At 11:20am this morning

Due to heavy overnight showers, stream flow is increasing. Red 'Caution Strong Stream' boards are now out at most lock sites.
The outllook for the week is for further showers.

Mostly Reds with a few yellow stream increasing below Chertsey Lock.

Teddington Head rowing race is still going ahead, although the Under 16 events have been cancelled.

About 50/50 reds and yellows above Oxford.
All yellows down to Hambleden.
Yellows and one red down to Boveney. Suspect the rest won't be far behind.

Those moored above the bridge at Sonning are in danger of floating over on to the bank.

Checked my markers this morning and just a couple of minutes ago and Thames Weybridge below the weirs has risen another inch.Yesterdays rain from upper reaches will be here soon, so further rises anticipated.

The whole of the River Thames is on red boards. When red boards
are displayed we advise all craft not to navigate.
Due to high levels and flows, most lock laybys are underwater and
the following locks are inoperable:
Iffley Lock – planned investment winter closure
Abingdon Lock –planned investment winter closure
Whitchurch Lock – planned investment winter closure
Marlow Lock – planned investment winter closure
Old Windsor Lock – planned investment winter closure
Penton Hook Lock – planned investment winter closure
In addition to these planned closures the following locks are closed
for operational reasons:
Rushey Lock – lock sluices open to reduce impact of flooding
Sandford Lock – lock sluices open to reduce impact of flooding
Culham Lock – water overtopping headgates
Shiplake Lock - water overtopping headgates

Molesey to Teddington first stretch to downgarde to Yellow Decreasing earlier today but rest all still red.
Outlook:

Most sites are still displaying red 'Caution Strong Stream' boards and most Thames Weirs remain fully open. However, river flow is slowly beginning to decrease, although red boards will probably remain in place at most sites into next week.

Marlow down to Teddington now yellow and theres a few others between Caversham and Oxford now on yellow decreasing as well. Above Oxford pretty well still all red though.
