Thames radiation

This is old news(though new to me), what concerned me is it's the one pollutant that doesn't go away. There is a wealth of info if you google 'river thames radioactivity'

I would not worry you get a lot of exposure from natural sources. My house bricks are radioactive giving 10 % above background (as are most bricks ) but if you really want to scare yourself take a scintillation counter with you to Cornwall (yes I have one).

I'm non tidal only, no need for NESW just L&R. Coincidentally, tritium is what the AWE were pumping into the Thames, hid from the water companies and were fined for.
